What industrial electronic modules are installed in the machines, systems and control cabinets in your production halls? Can your replacement part warehouse fulfil your requirements in an emergency?

Do you have an overview of the availability of your industrial electronic modules in the event of your machine coming to a standstill?

These questions are not easy to answer. By working with our experienced Service team, we would like to answer these questions for you as part of our machine & plant analysis.

Your advantages provided by completing a machine & plant analysis

You benefit from:

  • A complete, machine-based overview of your installed units
  • Overview of your stock incl. serviceability of the relevant items
  • Identification of modules that are difficult to procure
  • An individual requirement analysis
  • Specification of strategic recommendations

If required, you can react directly:

  • To reduce machine downtimes
  • To increase the availability of your machine and
  • To optimise your stock levels

The machine & plant analysis is the first step towards comprehensive obsolescence management, enabling you to already identify medium- to long-term shortages in the service & supply chain of your products.

This concept will enable us to clarify the availability and life cycle conditions of your production system and thus continue to guarantee the safety of your machines and plants. These checks can easily be conducted during ongoing production and do not have a negative impact. In future, this will also help you to reduce machine standstills to a minimum and to optimise stock levels and the availability of the machine in the long-term.

Three steps towards the optimum machine and plant analysis

As a first step, a systematic list of all the electronic modules installed in your machines and systems is generated. This list is generated by our professionally trained personnel directly at your site. These modules are recorded during continuous operation so that your daily routine in your production halls is not affected. Alongside the detailed list of all the electronic modules installed in your machines and systems, you will also receive an inventory log of your current stock levels. To provide a better overview, this list is divided by machine or production area. The results of this inventory log are documented in a software application developed by us and made available to you.

We will then examine your requirements over the past few years and will compare these with your current inventory.

Finally, we will work with you to forecast future requirements and thus determine a strategy for excess/insufficient stock levels in your warehouse.

Finally, we will provide you with a predictive overview of future repair capacities and the market & warehouse availability of exchange and replacement parts for your implemented modules.

Modules included in the machine & plant analysis:

  • HMI
  • Controllers
  • Electronic drive units
  • Frequency converters
  • Motors
  • PLC
  • Robotics
  • Other components, such as distributor cards, IPCs, etc.
